Obama again wants to “spend our way out” of economic troubles

I wish this was a joke, because it sure has the potential to be one.

According to Breitbart, Obama’s plan is still to spend tons of taxpayer money to try to get out of this economic recession.  He is now suggesting we pay for even more infrastructure projects, resulting in another multibillion dollar plan.

Did he miss James Pethokoukis’ blog at Reuters that shows he already has spent $246,436 for each job that they have “created or saved?”  And that’s even including the mysterious number of “saved jobs” touted by the Obama administration.

According to that analysis, with the average payroll in October being $59,867, if they simply gave that money straight to pay people’s salaries, they could have created 2.6 million jobs!  Not that he or I would suggest that as being a good idea, but it just shows the poor results and disastrous waste of money that the stimulus has been so far.

This is just another example of our elected officials throwing money at problems in a classic “hey let’s look like we’re doing something productive!” move.
