Senator-elect Scott Brown of Massachusetts is now saying that he doesn’t think the election was “a referendum on Obama.”

I don’t know if this is him not trying to make any waves, or if it is his way of attempting to stroke his own ego.  Either way, he then went on to say it also wasn’t “anything she did,” referencing Martha Coakley, but instead it was because people were frustrated with partisan gridlock in D.C.

Since the Democrats no longer have the “super majority” because of this election, the vote actually adds to the partisan gridlock, so I’m not sure what he means.

He probably just needs to come to terms with the fact that he was in the right place at the right time, and was able to be used as a medium for citizens to show how they really feel about the plans that Obama has in D.C.
