About

By Scott @ The Right of a Nation

I’m a conservative on most political issues, which means sometimes I agree with Republicans and sometimes I don’t.  I might agree with a Democrat on a specific topic, and I might disagree with everyone on another topic.  I’m also a Christian, which means my beliefs affect some of my political opinions and cause me to agree or disagree with certain people as mentioned above.

I believe that the Founders of our country knew what they were doing, and therefore I believe in our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the free market.  I believe that defending our country is one of the main duties of our government and believe that they should do it in a strong manner.

On this blog I just want to post my opinions on widely known news topics that are going on in America (and maybe some other places too) and also make available other topics that are not already as widely broadcast by the mainstream media.  I don’t enjoy “political correctness” and don’t plan on using it here – if something is true then it should be said.

We all want Obama out of the White House, and there is no Republican nominee who can beat Obama. Except Paul. The only way to beat Obama is to steal his votes, and the only who who will do that is Paul. Obama only won the election because he got the Independent vote- it was anyone other than McCain/Palin. Independents and Democrats alike love Paul.
This is a serious situation. We can’t just wait until 2016 when any old Republican is a shoe in. I fear the economy- and the dollar- will not last that long. It’s time we stop worrying about the reputation of the Republican party (who will be their puppet) and start worrying about the future of this country.
Please, don’t give up on Ron Paul. Reconsider what you think you know about him- the media has not done a fair job. He was completely ignored in the 08 election.

“Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country.”
    -Ronald Reagan

I just want you to know that I totally support your site and am happy that you are getting some more post back up here.

My social, political and spiritual leanings are very much the same as yours; conservative but not specifically attached to a party, and Christian which means I still believe in right and wrong without many distinguishable grey areas to be found.

    Keep fighting the good fight.

  3. I appreciate the comment and I hope you’ll stick around!
